Archi responded to the third wave of the Tbilisi City Hall initiative and handed over a set of food and hygiene items to 500 socially vulnerable elderly people. Along with the volunteers trained by the Red Cross, the residents of Archi were also actively involved in the distribution of products.
"We will continue to fight the coronavirus with all our might. We rejoin the initiative of Tbilisi City Hall and help the people who need to stand by their side the most. I thank Tbilisi City Hall for this extraordinary initiative. I must mention the great role of the Red Cross and their volunteers in this work. Of course, as before, the residents of Archi still stand by us and actively participate in this social campaign, " said Shio Khetsuriani, the general director of the Archi.
Archi said that the company will allocate hundreds of thousands of Lari for the fight against coronavirus and it is within the framework of this initiative that it has delivered the necessary products to 500 socially vulnerable elderly people today. This is not the first time this has happened. At the very beginning of the pandemic, Archi actively joined the Tbilisi City Hall initiative.
"Archi is still distinguished by high social responsibility and is by our side this season as well. Many thanks to them for their contribution to the ongoing processes. Involvement of each company is very important during this difficult period. Because the elderly are considered to be at risk for coronavirus disease, they need help the most. Therefore, at the initiative of the Tbilisi City Hall, we will provide all the necessary products to the socially vulnerable elderly people at home, so that you do not have to leave the house, ” said Ilia Eloshvili, the Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi.
