Georgia’s leading development company is entering a long-term partnership with world-renowned architect Wei Yap Ooi. A memorandum of cooperation was officially signed on July 19 between Archi and Wei Yap Architecture. As part of this collaboration, all of Archi’s premium projects will be executed through the unique vision of the acclaimed architect.
Australian registered architect, Wei Yap Ooi has been designing exceptional projects around the globe for many years. His portfolio includes major international developments such as the Jurong Lake District Masterplan in Singapore; AAMI Park Stadium in Melbourne, Australia; Scientia Terrace – Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College in Sydney, Australia; Kunming Mixed-Use Commercial Development in Kunming, China; and many more.
Initially, Archi’s collaboration with the renowned architect was intended for a single project. However, the creative process proved so organic and inspiring for both sides that it naturally evolved into a broader and long-term partnership.

Motivated by the smooth collaboration with Archi and the inspiration found in Georgia, Wei moved to the country with his family and relocated his architectural studio to Tbilisi. In addition to developing cutting-edge projects, Wei serves as Chair of the International Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects and brings unique academic experience gained from the world’s leading universities, knowledge he now plans to share with professionals at Archi.
