How to clean the house after the holidays
#Interior
The New Year's celebrations are over, all the presents are opened, the guests returned home and the festive food is eaten. Even though we all love Christmas and New Year, the noise and fun of the guests, we look around after it's over and our hearts break: what will fix all this now? If you are consistent and follow a plan, you will simplify the cleaning process and save time. We will introduce you to this plan in our blog.
Sorting gifts
Sometimes, we are given such gifts that do not suit our taste or we do not know what to use them for. Therefore, after the holidays, sort the gifts according to whether or not they are useful to you. Keep only what you will use. So you save space. You can alienate what you cannot use. However, it is also possible that all the gifts are useful, but there is no room at home. In such a case, discard the old items and replace them with the items received as gifts.
Packing the decoration
After you've put away the presents and put away the extra stuff, start taking down the New Year's decorations. It's so much easier to put everything together, but next year you'll find yourself in a terrible mess when you unpack. Think carefully about which decorations you won't use again next year. Maybe it's better to throw away what will be outdated next year?
House cleaning
The gifts are packed, the decorations are removed and sorted, and now it's time to clean the house. This process is unimaginable without a vacuum cleaner, but don't forget to take into account that some vacuum cleaners have a hard time picking up glitter that falls off Christmas tree cones and decorations. Make sure there is no residue left after cleaning.
Do not forget to disinfect the places where guests were. Disinfection is an essential part of cleaning after the New Year because now is the best time for viruses to spread.
Sorting the refrigerator
Food sorting is inevitable after the holidays, as leftovers can be thrown away. You can save time and start cleaning the refrigerator. Make sure you don't have any expired items, or you won't get an extra, completely unnecessary product. Unfortunately, we rarely manage to find time to clean the refrigerator, and by doing so, we even contribute to the spread of bacteria.
If you do all this consistently, then the post-holiday clean-up is over and you can calmly return to everyday life.
